Lumbar sympathetic blocks treatment is used to reduce pain caused due to complex regional pain syndrome. The chronic pain occurs in lower back and legs due to sympathetic nerves responsible for carrying information from spine to brain. The list of common symptoms includes pain in affected area even with a light touch, swelling, increased sweating, redness. In lumbar sympathetic block, the nerve is identified using fluoroscopy and then injected with Twilight sedation that takes less than 15 minutes to provide relief.
